My first mods will be wheels & suspension and In Car Entertainment.

With that note, the search starts where to buy suspension & what wheel fitment would work.

I might paint the A pillars as a fellow blogger had done so and perhaps add a spoiler on the back deck.
I'd hope that by the time the model is released here some of the Japanese suspension company's like HKS, Tein, JIC Magic, and what not have a coilover kit for the new Cube. Other than that, I'm hoping the Cube has a 4x100 wheel bolt pattern. It looks like it does. That'll open up the selection of wheels. I'm thinking a set of Axis wheels from their OG line.
First thing Id' do is strip out the interior and dynamat the whole thing to sound proof it more. It was noisy in the last model, and I somehow find sound proofing mandatory. 3 -5 hours of work and you can get alot of the clink and clanks and grumps out. Maybe not lexus ls460 quality but it will be better than stock.
Second, put in a double-din navigation receiver (unless we have that option in North America, which I doubt). Since it will be soundproofed, I might as well order a nice set of Focal speakers and stick in an amp or two and a sub.

The original rear back up camera would be cool too...if we can order that camera part from Japan.

Since this car's only got a small powerplant... Ill listen to you guys on how to squeeze more power out of it.
well i'm looking for accessories for the Cube. There is a Japanese site though that has Coilovers, drop springs, bodykits etc.

That's probably where I'd start too. Wheels and drop are going to do wonders for this car...
Wheels & tires. I'm not really going to mod this thing at all. Maybe a set of revalved Bilsteins & some matched springs will be put on if Bilstein makes some. That's about it. My goal is to run the Cube for 1,000,000 miles on the original motor & tranny & keeping it as mint as possible. Basically, I'm looking to keep it as a classic car for the future. (^o^ ) <3

My "mods" are generally pretty straightforward:

Alloy wheels I like the look of, better tires, better lighting, reflective side stripe*, finding a good place to mount a ScanGauge II, decent mount for cellphone/GPS, etc. Mostly just practical stuff rather than anything radical.

* For my last dozen cars or so I've always put a body color reflective stripe down the side. Usually it is not even noticible until headlights hit it at night. It's a safety item for me.

im looking to 20's NOT CHROME and a nice FBSS setup.
fuzzy dice.
Thanks to the previous poster in this thread about the reflective side stripe. I was pondering something similar, and I'm going to follow their lead, plus probably add some more higher up (like at the bottom edge of the windows). Here are some additional mods I plan on making:
Buying (and installing) a ScanGauge2.
Installing a 2 meter radio (and a seperate APRS unit)
Installing a HF radio.
Aftermarket in-dash GPS/video unit
Rear view camera
Pre-oiler
Driving/fog lights
LED running lights, possible on all four sides
Some sort of computer shelf/workstation in the rear
Bicycle carrier in the front
Power outlets in the rear (Anderson Powerpoles and cigarette lighters)

Ands that's probably only the half of it...

Guess I'd go with wheels and suspension first..will depend on camber kit availability. Paint/decal the a-pillars. Short shift kit. Nice stainless exhaust if I can find one that doesn't look like a coffee-can and sound like flatulence. As for the engine I'll wait and see what comes out..though I will switch to full synthetics. If gearing is the same as the Versa I'll look into something to drop the revs in 6th.
Tires & Rims are a must. I would like to get a stiffer suspension (doesn't need to drop the ride height though). Also, am I the only one that thinks that a Euro style bike rake on top would be awesome?

Hello, my names futoshi and I’m getting a cube from my grandpa I two years when I turn 16. My first mods will be... Customizing my Headliner with fabric, Buying a Sun Shade, Jdm window stickers and Floor mats from Randomarchives.com
I like the easy maintenance of Pro Dry S filter, so I went with the Takeda intake from 4wheelonline. Aside from the great sound, I can say that the throttle response is twice as good as it was.

Whats the name of the site?
The first thing I did was to replace the wheels on my cube. I've never been a fan of OEM wheels, and thankfully I got a discounted set on 4wheelonline. It will be preferable to buy car accessories online because they are affordable compared to a local shop.
Added silver bullets (like seen on 1950 Chevy's) to where the fog lights would be. Then added a roof rack.
