has anyone had leaks coming out from the bottom of your cube? I checked the fluid, it looks like water. I was using my AC on the road, does this have to do with that?

from my limted understanding of how a/c's work, the water is the condensation from the a/c compressor.

... and it's totally normal.

From my large understanding of refrigeration units I fully agree with tbone13

It is condensation and is completely normal, on your home unit there is a pipe that connects to the AC unit pan and the catch pan and runs outside into the grass but its not really noticed. In the car it just drips on the road.

I did notice that with most if not all of my other cars had the A/C drip on the passenger side, but on the Cube it drips on the drivers side.

Oh and yes, it is normal.

Is the cube motor mounted transverse left or right? Usually front of the motor is to the right, I had just looked at Dink's pictures above and it looks left. I will have to pop the hood.

Just wanted to throw out a big "THANKS" to those on this thread - as I noticed this very same thing in my garage the other day.

After checking it out and noticing that it did indeed appear to just be water coming from under the driver's side of the car, I searched around on this forum and found this thread. So, since it is a normal thing, I won't be taking the ride into the dealer to inspect. This place is great!

The Sentra SpecV I had was doing that. The Versa of my gf is doing the same. My 1990 Nissan Silvia does the same. And my cube too.

It's normal as stated in many post before mine, don't worry.

Most cars and trucks drop a/c water in the same place (passengers side). BUT as we all know the CUBE is very different it drops (or marks) on the drivers side. (Right hand drive at heart) 8)
