Does anyone know if there is an advantage to upgrading to an Aluminum valve cover or if there may be an OE Cover that may improve performance on a MR18DE engine(Z12 cube). Any insight would be great, thanks.
So far, as far as I can tell, there is no effect on performance when it comes to valve covers, unless you are talking about weight. It appears that the only difference is cost or preference.
