I wouldn't do it, but that is just me. Trailers are for trucks with power.

I've noticed that they sell a tow hitch for cube on ebay. Would it be safe enough to say that the cvt transmission can handle a small trailor or just stay away from the towing idea????

my guess is that a hitch on the cube is more for a cargo tray than a trailor. the manual specifically says no towing.
Yeah, if you look at it, the rear bumper is pretty low to begin with. There is an advisory on towing setups on the Nissan owners manuals site. It really just says to stay away from ones that clamp on to the bumpers.
