That is the question.

I just bought the Red SL Cube on Monday. All black interior. I also bought the Interior Trim Appliques in red from the dealership. I saw it on another cube we test drove and thought it looked nice (was on a white interior'd one). After doing a rough placement (just placing the Appliques in place) I though it took away from all the cool black interior and made it look a little cheap. My wife thought the same.

What are your thoughts.

Re: To add the Interior Trim Appliques or not to add the Interior Trim Appliques

I thought the same after putting them on. Makes it kinda cheap and plastic looking. Great for a hooker... not so much for me. As for another color, I don't think the carbon fiber one would look that much different enough to justify the cost. Isn't that much different than straight black.

All in all, I like the straight black.

I do think I will add the 20 Color Interior Accent Lighting, but let the dealer install it.

Turn on the red light :D  :D

I thought it looked better in your pictures than some I have seen. I think the softer pearl white on the grey would look good.

On the left side arm rest there is a red tab of some sort? What is that?

Also dig the girly flip flops. If you have seen my early post on footwear you would know my love for them.

The red tab is where the double sided tape is. I actually just laid them where they should go to see what it would look like. Didn't permanently stick them on... and those are my wife's flip flops. All she has are pink and I didn't feel like putting my shoes on.

I've thought if the wood ones looked real the interior would look great. However, I think the appliques remind me of a person who says their mobile home trailer is a house :D Not bashing mobile homes.

Really would like to know, how hard are they to put on. Some decal like these won't stick well and are very hard to put on where they line up or cover what they are suppose to cover or air bubbles can be a night mare. How about with the ones for the Cube?

I have had no experience with the Cube decals but the trick I use for all decals is to spray the sticky side with Windex. It allows you to move them around for several minutes. A stiff piece of cardboard used as a scraper will get all of the air bubbles out and force the excess Windex out. The next day the rest of the Windex will have evaporated.
