so just did a test drive this evening and when i got in i was really surprised to see a sunroof. cause i had tested the car at another dealer and none of theirs had this option. when i asked the dealer about it he didn't really know anything and said maybe it was after market. but again he wasn't sure. but nothing on the window info sheet mentioned the sunroof or an extra price for it. anyone have any more info on this? i had to leave right after the drive so i couldnt check if any other one had it.

Yes, it is an aftermarket addition.

Personally living in the hot, humid south, I find them nearly useless and counterproductive. Being an aftermarket mod, I'd be leery of leakage and would go over its warranty with a very fine tooth comb.

But no tacked on extra cost?? I wonder why? maybe a way disguise or fix a problem hence the no extra cost.

Don't worry. Typical Nissan slime tactic!!!

They will wait until you're signed over the title on your trade-in, and have kept you at the dealership for six hours & are going into a hypoglycemic coma... THEN they will *magically* remember that the sunroof is an extra $2,500.

yup...sunroofs are not an option with our Cubes. I'd also be cautious about stuff that may not be covered by warranty. It rains too much up here to take that risk. while i don't necessarily need to roof to open, i'd like the panoramic top, just to let more light in.
