Very interesting. I'm curious to see what is behind that piece of plastic on the outside of the C-pillar, the one with the waves on it? I am thinking it is just painted metal back there and that piece of plastic is just stuck on with double sided tape.

I look forward to seeing the pictures.

:)Well tear down is completed and CUBE goes for painting tonight. It went very well, but still messed up 5 clips on the door panels trying to get them off. Took all hold handles inside down, plus visors, dome light, map light. Door panels came off next, then all upper side panels inside. On the back door removed back up light which was stuck in there real good with adhesive, but two screws holding it were not even tight. Also removed subwoofer box, so wiring harness could be taken out. Then the antenna came off, also removed front corner pieces on the windshield cowl. The roof runners came off easy too, they just have clips on each end then easily removed. Have move pics but can only post 10, so if any questions let me know! Not sure how long before its finished but will post pics when done. John

Your signature says that you have the only scarlet red cube in town. I was curious what color you were going to paint the cube and also what brand paint you were using. Are you going with a solid color or a custom design? Just curious, I grew up in the autobody/painting industry and I am considering doing some work on mine, though I don't have any tools.....(I gave up car work many years ago!).

Very nice tear down pictures! How long did it take you to do that? Did you do it at the shop that will do the paintjob, or do you have to move it/drive it over there like that?

Can't wait to see the finished Cube!
