I contacted Tanabe asking when these springs will be available for distribution and this is their response:

"Thank you for your inquiry,

We are still completing R&D for the Tanabe parts lineup for the Nissan Cube. We are not sure, after the R&D session, what the ETA is for us to recieve the final version of these parts from Tanabe Japan. Some of the parts might be interchangeable with the Versa, but before we officially sell the products, we do need to do the testing to make sure. Thank you very much for your patience.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us."

The cube looks great a little lower!!

It is still on.
These springs won't be available for purchase for another few months I would think.
so the ones on your site from the Versa aren't interchangeable? Didn't someone already order a set from you? Hmm?
The ones from my site are interchangeable, however the aftermarket companies are going to design specific springs for the Cube. The versa springs fit, but Tanabe wanted to develop some more specific ones for the Cube to optimize the all around performance.

So, you can use the Versa springs now or wait for Tanabe to come out with these Cube springs which will be very simliar to Versa springs that they have already developed.

The weight is different but they should still ride fine. People use Toyota echo shocks on the 1st gen xb for example. If the weight difference was more than 175 lbs then I wouldn't recommend them, but I believe the versa springs would do the job.

anyone do a spring swap on their own? how hard is it? i know i'd prolly need a spring compressor. i'm not sure of the torque specs, etc. anyone have any ideas? i've called a couple shops, and they won't install springs unless they're bought from them. :(
I have done 3-4 different spring swap outs. It isn't that hard if you have another person to hold down the springs. Takes a few hours, that's for sure.

Heres a DIY on how to do it on the 1st gen xB. There may be a few things different with the Cube, but it is the same concept.
