:) :) :)
Stillen decided to be part of our build giving us major sponsorship for the cube providing the exhaust and the intake, as soon as we got back home from stillen we lifted the cube and started to work on it.
here are some pics of the oem and the stillen thru installation

the sound level is very nice and mild, been an automatic cube it gives it a constant rumbly rumbly that nicely increases when you push the pedal
this is prob. gona be the best DIY mod for the cube affordable and easy to install, took me only 20 min. and the exhaust was fully installed ;D

the road for sema seems to be looking better and better every day

Thanks for the sound clip, I'm impressed. Sounds real good and not loud at all as I expected. This is now on my short list. - Dan

Not likely, most muflers that use noise cancelling baffling actually get quieter over time because the baffles get coated by carbon which adds to the quieting. Glasspacks on the other hand get louder as the glass burns in and settles.

What's it like at constant speed inside the car? As much as I like performance, I've grown a little tired of my Eclipse Turbo's noise and would like to hear the radio again. :) I kind of like the quietness of the Cube except for engine noise on acceleration.

This sounds a lot like my Eclipse - low tone. Hondas sound like a go kart - kind of raspy vs. mellow.

it is raspy but still on a low tone.
no matter how much you try to push it to make it louder it stays low
inside the car it does have a high tone, i had a friedn seat in the back seat and tell me how loud it is and he say it is kinda loud in the back.
this was my only quiet car before intake and exhaust not anymore :-[
but is all good ;)
honestly i think it can be a lot louder if you want but then the po pos wont leave you alone
at one point i had my yaris done with full exhaust from magnaflow,AEM intake and megan headers.....
that thing was so noisy, it used to sound like the old crx with straight pipe very loud
still it made the yaris a pocker rocket lol! that little car was so freaking fast i had the best fun with it
it is gone a long time ago due to unsatisfactory issues lol! :D :D :D
i started to find all kinds of problems with that yaris

Thanks for the info. My Eclipse sounds low, especially compared to Honduhs, which must be the "ricey" sound someone mentioned. Yours sounded nothing like that.

If you want noise, my old 1966 Shelby GT-350 was the king. Combine a racing air cleaner, thin-wall headers, solid lifters, and the thunderous exhaust, and you have a complete symphony of deafening sound. Radio was worthless, couldn't hear it. My bro and I drove it from Houston to Dallas once. By the time we got there, neither one of us could hear a thing for a couple of hours.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Whenever we develop an exhaust system, whether it's for a Cube or Z/G or even a full size truck, we always shoot for a more refined sound. We try to stay away from the raspy or drony sounding exhaust setups as they sound great at first but on a long drive or even after a year or more they start getting annoying. We always shoot for something in the middle of aggressively loud and street subtle.

Thanks again!

Kyle is there ever a chance that you might make a full catback exhaust to get rid of some of those useless smaller sections of pipe that we've been hearing about?

Everything is possible, it just depends on demand. If there is sufficient demand to build a full exhaust I'm sure we could make something, and even make something work with the current rear section. Basically just build a center section so that even if you purchase the rear section today, when we develop the center section you could just bolt it right in.

I will mention this in our next R&D meeting!

Thanks, Kyle. The Stillen exhaust has been my choice now for a little bit. At first when I saw it, I didn't like it all that much, but then it grew on me. And it is still currently the best value on the market, and the tone is right on. Just what I would like.

Thank you for listening to our concerns, and the biggest thank you for Stillen being an early adopter to our vehicle. :)
