I went to lowes the other day, and I found a leaf cover that could make a nice grille to my cube.
It printed coverleaf 24"x86" clover shape perforated. Also, I stopped by at the 99cents store and bought form tape, 8 small clamps, and double sided tape. After 2 hours... this is the result.

Like the DIY ripple hooks this car is lending itself to be modded easily.

Nice Job, that material was popular for home air vents in the 70's, nice use of it in the modern era.

me thinks it needs to be black to blend with the headlights better, but mad props on execution

It's nice to see folks still crafting their own goodies. That material was quite popular back in the day's of van Clubs all accross the country. Lots of people back then used the same material to make grilles and a host of other trim for their vans. You can get it in silver, bronze, and black. Good stuff and easy to work with. Thumbs up to ya. - Dano

It looks fantastic! Give me the extra push I needed to go out and make my own, too!
