I would. If you’re positive it’s a gasket leak, keep a close eye on the oil and change it before too much coolant contaminates it resulting in more problems. It may get worse and you’ll have no choice but be vigilant watching it and drive it. Just my opinion..
Small coolant leak to engine
Our Cube is on its second head gasket. We did an oil analysis and the small coolant leak is in the oil. Hi Potassium levels. The car drives fine. No issues and coolant is clear as is the oil. All that said, I’d rather not put any more money into this. Already has two head gasket repairs and recently the heater core!
It’s my daughter’s car and next year she’s off to a college that’s 200 miles away from us. I’m no mechanic. Question is does anyone else have this issue? I’m losing about 1” of coolant from the reservoir every 3 months. Do I just let her keep driving it or?
