So here in the GTA we are having our first encounter with winter. We got snow overnight, which is currently turning to rain, and will turn back into snow tonight. As you can guess, EVERYONE has forgotten how to drive in the sloppy stuff. My Cube, however, was just fine, even without snows. Oh sure, I had my slippy slidy warning light come on once or twice during my half hour commute, but nothing my box couldn't handle.

LOVE MY CUBE, BABY

I too am in the GTA and drove in to work today in my Cube. I have winter tires on though. In my situation, a lot of people were driving way too slow for the conditions. The main roads were actually not too bad. When you drive too slow and brake too hard for no reason, it causes panic for others, and the urge to pass suddenly, and one things lead to another.

I kept wondering if water woudld leak into my cube whenever a big truck would pass by and splash tons of slush on my cube....I was thinking, how can this thin frame and upright windshield put up with all this? lol.
