well if they were to do the job yes, they would,but i figure 5k is wa out of the question

i found a shop in portland that would do it for $1100 so 5k i think your paying for the shop name ......

$1100 is way more understandable.

I would want to see the product on another car too. Workmanship is a key component.

i had a civic with a 38x40 inch sliding rag top.
it cost me $420 in 2002. installed it myself in a few hours.
just measured and measured to make sure it was centered and cut with a jigsaw. i added a sunroof wind deflector and it never leaked even in heavy downpours, the only time i got water leaks was if i sprayed the hose into the sides when washing so i couldnt go through the automatic car wash.

The rag costs $595 - $795 and cutting a hole in the roof is $4200? :no:

Insulation? Are they putting more in than stock? And weather proofing? Ragtops aren't weather proof, you have a giant hole in your roof, they are "weather resistant".
