Hi all,
All but one of my seat belts are the same.....they all have a little button doohickey to keep the one buckle part...the part that slips into the buckle......all but one have a button that keeps that part from sliding down.....you know how you pull it forward and across to buckle. My front seat passenger side instead is looped and stitched and it's bugging me. But, before I call my dealer, I wanted to check and see if anyone else has one belt different from the rest....does anyone? I'll post two pictures below.....easier to explain with photos.

Normal!

I prefer the loop, as the button always catches on my belt or the buttons on my shirt.

Not so. It's simply to keep the buckle from sliding all the way to the floor when not in use. The loop (as opposed to the button) keeps the buckle from rattling against the plastic pillar while you drive.

Thanks everyone! It makes me feel better but.......still.........how very very odd. I've never noticed a loop on any of our other cars. I even wondered, did they run out of buttons the day mine was made? Well...... I believe they thought of everything else so there has to be a good reason.

Never thought of that!!Right on.
Nice bit of attention to detail I'd say.
Speaking of seatbelts and rattles.
Did anybody get a rattle in the back you could not pin down while driving ?
I did and found the rear seat belt metal clips were tapping/vibrating on the rear pillar plastic.
I also found the rear seat belt retaining clips which took care of the rattle.
More attention to detail.

Cheers.

Yeah thats it. I drive with my windows down and if I don't have my seatbelt on, the drivers side rattles against the pillar there.

+1 to Nissan there

Ditto! I was ready to tear the headliner apart until I found out it was those rear seatbelts. They should have just put that loop on them instead of the clip nonsense!

Cheers.
