After 1 1/2 days of ownership the RF sub in the back door puked on me. It sounds like a complete blow out. It's making a horrible buzzing sound every time the bass hits and the only way to tone it down is to crank the bass down to -5 which makes everything sound like crap. I can't get it in to the dealership until Monday and I'm doing a 1,000 road trip this weekend. I wasn't even pushing them.

I'm not even sure if the sub is covered under the warranty or not.

Sorry man. Im very glad I got the non RF setup. Because its so crappy, and I have my old parts waiting.
The Fosgate system actually sounds great and has some good punch. Because I wasn't pushing the sub I'm assuming it's just a freak thing and I don't expect the replacement to do the same thing. Having said that if it's not covered under warranty I'll be dropping in one my JBL 12"s. I have two sets of Polk component speakers powered by an Infinity amp I would love to put in but I'm not comfortable with tearing into the brand new car yet.

I got my Cube in to the dealer today and they ordered a new sub. As far as I can tell it's covered. I'll have to baby the new one until it is broken in before pushing it. I didn't know the sub was only an 8". It sounds pretty good for an 8", well that is LOL!
