When I picked up the cube last week the ripple hooks were missing so the dealer sent me new ones in the mail. I thought they were black. I got three with one white, green, and tangerine. All pastel colors. Did they send me the wrong ones?

Were you missing the ones for the front or back? If for the back you got a double bonus round there :yes:

So it looks like you got the trial look at the colors package. So technically you could still go back to the dealer and get the right part as you are still missing it. The stock part is 2 black hooks up front.

thats not a trial package. thats how they sell the colored knobs. in sets of three, one of each color. how dumb is that? four spots for hooks, and non-matching colors.ChristineK said:

Gotta say I find some of the accessory nonsense alittle annoying. They couldn't have put a hook in each of the 4 holes? Those hooks cost pennies to make. Not that they give us a single item to hang on them. Krom edition has no matching trim for the doors to match the vents? It's their car and they get to decide how to sell it, but I think when you don't include something as inexpensive as a ripple hook you start to look alittle too cheap and alittle too greedy.
eh, the base cube is actually pretty inexpensive for what you get; many other base models don't come with air conditioning, for example. factories will charge an arm and a leg for little accessories because they're unique/special, and folks will pay for them because they want "official" partsBigLobedWelder said:

yeah for all the standard features packed into this car at the base model, i'll be the first to deny that nissan is cheap and greedy. 14k for a/c, power windows/locks/mirrors, abs, traction control, etc etc. thats a damn good deal to me! thats why the base model is all i wanted lol

I don't know about all that but I have 4 Chrome ripple hooks now :yes: it looks sweet with the chrome door handles and such

Fair enough about the base model, but at $20,840 I'm thinking maybe the Krom could come with four hooks. Maybe even shiny ones.
