Word up everyone...

I have been looking for a remote starter for my cube, i wonder if its possible to start with (because i have a push start version) having it hooked up to my actual remote would be nice.

Anyone have one already?

winter is coming...

peace ;)

I've only installed one remote starter and it hooked into the major power wires going to the key switch. If the push button switch still has the major wires (heavy gauge) used to send amperage to the starter motor and thus not a trigger switch, for lack of a better term, to the ECM with smaller gauge wires then it should work. Just a guess tho'..... :-\

I'm a rep for remote start/alarm company(Scytek Electronics) for WV, OH, KY, IN, IL, PA, MD, VA, WI, SD, and ND...I already have a remote start with alarm on my cube...the push button is no big deal and you will need a bypass to do it if you have a push button or not...You can get a Remote start(2000RS-mdL) that you can use your factory remote only but I don't recommend it. You will be limited to the distance of your factory remote(not good)...You can do a real small remote that has one button on it if you want to keep it simple called a Scytek G35...The alarm and remote start took about 1.5 hours to do and was not bad but there are some tricks to it...I have a Scytek Precision Pro 500 on mine...It has a two way remote that pages me if the alarm goes off, I can set it to start at the same time in the morning, see what the temp is in my car or outside and has about a 3000 feet range(and much more)...if anyone needs more info let me know

NP....Here is a link of what a one button remote start remote looks like...

Its a little bit smaller than a watch face...I don't know how much it would cost in Canada but I have a shop close by charging $229 installed for the one button and as for my setup here is what my remote looks like

The same shop charges $499 installed but you get a full alarm, 2way pager, remote start and everything under the sun...

I myself am living with two remotes (one is similar to the Scytek) and it has not been a problem as I thought it would be. It is obviously a little more cumbersome however having the range that these alarm/remote starts have is amazing and you get confirmation that your Cube is actually turned on. Nothing worse than thinking you started your car and you walk up noticing it didn't actually start (depending on range of course).

The investment up front is pretty hefty but for all that you get it is definitely worth it. I highly recommend it
