I have a 4th generation iPod Nano (the kind that the cube can't charge, sadly), and I find that as soon as I plug the thing in, changes are made to my iPod. In particular, the "REPEAT > ALL" feature is activated, so I have to listen to the same podcast going round and round and round. 
This setting remains on my iPod after I unplug it from the car, and it's frustrating to have to change it back again after each journey.
Has anyone else discovered this, and is there a way to stop it? Also, for that matter, is it my imagination or does playing the iPod through the car stereo really suck the life out of the iPod battery?
