Has anyone tried or heard of anyone playing their guitar through the stereo using the Ipod connection? I thought I would possibly try it when my Cube comes in, in about 1 1/2 months. It would be an Acoustic Guitar with built in pre-amp. Invite some friends into the Cube Cafe to relax, have some coffee and a little acoustic music. Any thoughts? :yes: :no: :-\

If you are getting the stereo with the iPod input then you will also have the AUX in jack on the front of the head unit. I once had a Dodge Neon with a stereo with an AUX input and have indeed tried my electric bass plugged into the AUX port using a 1/4" phone plug to 1/8" stereo mini adapter. it worked great! if you include a distortion pedal into the mix you could have some screaming guitar... (just try not to blow your speakers) LOL
Give it a try once you get your Cube!

Thanks for the reply and I will give it a try. At some point in time I'm going to do some speaker upgrades as I used to install car stereos for a living and it will be fun to delve into that project. Hopefully I'll remember to let you know how things worked out.
