Here are some pics of all the led's installed and lit up in my cube, I installed the 12 panel led in the rear cargo area and also in the ceiling dome light, it fits both places perfectly, actually looks better installed in the rear than in the ceiling light, let me know what you think, the super white light is SOOO much brighter and better in my opinion, ENJOY!!

here are the bulbs I ordered from www.superbrightleds.com
(2) T13-x6 Wedge Base LED bulb $ 1.99 (each)
(1) WLED-xHP5 Wedge Base Bulb $ 5.95 (each)

rear cargo light off, I have since hidden the red wire by tucking down in the recessed part of the light housing

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but I tried changing this bulb with an 12v LED festoon bulb and it doesnt work anymore.

http://www.dinodirect.com/4-LED-Vehicle-Light-Bulbs-Car-Ceiling-Dome-Door.html

I tried putting the stock bulb back in and it still doesnt turn on.. what did I do?? I tried checking the fuses but my dome lights still work fine so I dont think that's the problem.

Any ideas anyone? Thanks.

How did you come to the conclusion of your BCM being fried? Reason being I would suspect alot more issues happening than just the rear cargo light not working. I am confused on this, please let me know what digging you did, Thanks, Rick

I was checking into getting the LED dome light and adding some aftermarket ones form AutoZone and the manager there told me if I was trying to convert regular bulbs over to LED to be really careful. His Dodge owning friend fried his computer when he put LED taillights on his Ram. They are so low voltage that the computer malfunctioned when the tail lights were not drawing enough current for the computer to recognize that the lights and/or brake lights were on? I changed my mind after hearing that. I believe the guy since he lost sales when he told me that.

Hey, this happened to me as well. A couple weeks ago I changed all my interior lights to LED's and when I did the cargo the LED didn't work. Put the stock bulb back in and it didn't work either. Unfortunately, I did it the day I was heading back to work so I haven't been home yet to look into it.

Did you check to see if there's still power?

OMG, I forgot that in my original post I did not mention this as well, my rear cargo light did not work either after I switched to the LED one. I am fairly proficient in 12 volt electronics so I did some testing and did not come up with a solution, but what I did do is ran a jumper wire from the pin switch on the back door to the light housing and it works like normal now, I really would like to know the reason why it quit working though!!
