Not a bad idea for those needing bungee cords! You should post pictures of them in use!
One Dollar front door bungee substitutes.
I was quite disappointed that Nissan could not include a set of Front door bungees and a set of ripple hooks with the Cubes as a thank you gift.
Since the sticker price on the Cube was what you paid and no chance of any "Waribiki" Japanese for discount they could at least included them as "Sabisu" or Japanglish for extra service "Preseento" present.
I suspect they would in Japan give some kind of freebee appreciation for buying the Cube gift.
Zannen deshita...Disappointed.
However.....
I went to our local $ store looking for bungees.
What I found were eye wear retainers,those things to allow you to hang your glasses around your neck.
They are a finer bungee cord material in various colours.
I bought two red ones for $1 each.That would be 87c US!
I now have red bungees on my front door arm rests for the princely sum of $2 [retail!] :yes:
Goes to show the true actual value of things doesn't it!
With a blunt object in this case a fine spoon handle and with a bit of stretching and poking in the slots of the armrests the bungee fitted in nicely.
Now if I could only find ripple hook substitutes....................I only need two.

Thank you for the pics and the Idea. I think I am going to start looking to see what colors are out there. With the Carribean Blue none of those colors that were given to me were appealing. I think I want Pink now LOL.
weird they gave me a big bag of them, if anyone wants yellow orange or red let me know, i wont be using the in my moss green one. I stick to gray.

I have the yellow in right now but just not feeling any of the colors with the blue Maybe a Hawaiian print. I just bought 18 of the elastic hair bands (black). Stretched them into place, and voila . . .
You can take the cords and dip them in bleach for a while then use fabric dye to change them to what ever color. Just a thought I throwing out. ;D
