Good day, all!
First, not certain this is the correct section. I gave my car to my sonnephew because he's in collage and works. However, unlike his younger brother, he doesn't pay attention to car issues. So. Remote key died and when I opened it the new battery "WON'T FIT!" it's supposed to need 2032 but it's too big. Last, since I program new battery using old dead key.
Please help!
PS Just noticed om tiny slip of paper with new key, says "Rogue,,, Mine is 2009 Cube! What the heck is going on? Will it work for Cube programming?

Well, it sounds like you've got a "situation." : )

If the key you have is for the Rogue, you'd have to check with a dealer to find out if it can be made to work with the Cube. Generally speaking, dealers charge a lot to do anything with those keys. A new one for my Honda Fit costs about $350! If he was driving the car, he must have had a working key. Finding that is the "key" to this problem. Otherwise, it will be an expensive job for the dealer.
