Well I decided I wanted 7" screen with EVERYTHING (or close to it...LOL) including Navigation. But when I priced these babies I about choked. So I started looking into the Chinese market, I figured the Chinese are building head units for many known name brands, so why not go to them direct. Anyway, I settled for one that was about 1/4 of the cost of a name brand. here it is.

Playing a DVD

Features

GPS

I too have been interested in purchasing one of these units ;) let me know how it works out for you.
Everything works as advertised although I don't know about the TV. I didn't buy any TV antennas since this isn't something I would use. The radio works great and seems to pick a lot more stations than the stock radio did. The DVD works awesome and play's both movies and music, the SD card reader will read an 8 gig HD card so I have several day's of music on a single card. The USB works great so I can use a thumb drive. The GPS is still something I'm going to have to get used to. I'm used to a Garmin with TTS. The GPS in this head unit doesn't have TTS but it's no big deal. But other then that it does seem to get me where I need to go. There's a lot more to this head unit than I'm using. I'm just running it through the factory speakers, but there a ton of RCA cables on the back for amps and such. - Dan

Yes and no. It isn't iPod specific compatible per se. But you can plug in ANY MP3 player into it's aux jack. We've hooked up our Creative ZEN to it and it plays great. - Dan

Yeah, search fleabay for Eonon and 88HK. you should expect to pay somewhere in the $300.00 range. - Dan

Any trouble with connection - that's a pretty sweet unit for the price - looking at it now on fleabay as well... I assume you still needed a antenna adapter as well as a Versa stereo connection...

How is fitment - it looks pretty good - did you use a trim kit or anything... Where did you mount the GPS antenna.

Connection was pretty simple. I gut a Versa stereo adapter and wired it to the wires coming from the radio plug. I had to relocate one wire in the Versa adaptor to match the light wire to the cube's harness. I also had to use an antenna adaptor. Everything on this radio seems to be working very well. I'm very pleased with it for the price. I did have to shave a bit of the radio opening on the factory bezel (trim) top and bottom. It slightly interfered with the motorized display. Now it clears perfectly and you can't even tell it was shaved. - Dan

For anyone else considering one of these with Nav, I just wanted to let you know that the PolNav maps that come with it aren't very good, at least I didn't like them. I contacted Eonon to find out if other maps will work and they said no. But being the hard headed person that I can be, I did more research. With a lot of tinkering and the internet I found that you can make iGO8 software work, iGO8 is pretty good and I've used it before. The actual map source for iGO is NavTec (for the US). So the bottom line is, now I am using iGO8.3.2 in my Eonon Navi and I even added TTS so now it speaks out street names. - Dan
