Greetings! New Cube owner here, very excited to join you all. Loving the ride thus far!

I have an SL trim with Super Black exterior and Light Gray interior, 16" Premium Alloy Silver Wheels (the upgraded alloys, not standard alloys), 20-Color Interior Accent Lighting, Splash Guards, Interior Designer Package, and Front Window Tint.

The Preferred Package would've been great (because you get so much for so little cost) but it wasn't available on any of the Cubes in stock. And I did not want the body kit / spoiler / lip package because I prefer the cleaner, minimal look.

I also really like the upgraded alloy wheels that came with it, but not sure they're worth the $790 upgrade cost over the standard alloys!

The sticker price (MSRP) was $18,970 plus another $990 for a dealer upgrade package (front window tint and pin-striping) but I got a great deal through the VPP program at $17,100 (well below invoice) plus I got the $990 upgrade fee waived (although I got to keep the tint for free! and asked them not to add the pin-striping). There was a separate "processing fee" (dealer profit) on top at $699, so it came to $17,799 before tax/lic/reg/etc. After tax, out the door, the grand total was $19,286 which we financed. I'm very happy with the deal, I think we got a steal. Looking forward to discussing all-things-Cube with you all!

I like the black interior but I think the contrast of the light gray interior (against the black exterior) is much better looking, plus it doesn't absorb as much heat. The light gray was just too pretty for me to pass on. It'll show more dirt than black but I take great care of my cars so it won't be a major issue, hopefully my baby girl will follow suit :) Also, I absolutely love the soft, wave pattern stitching SL trim fabric. Beautiful option.

had my front doors done 35% and I believe my sunstrip is 20%. the guy at the tint shop said the rear area was 15% from the factory. I also have black seats. The picture was taken at high noon with the sun baking the tint on better. I wanted to go 20% on the front doors but was afraid to waste the $ on tint to get pulled over and have to strip it off and repay to get it legal. (35% in TN)

thanks guys, not sure how this post came back to life because i posted back in august! -- but i'll take the compliments 6 months later! :) i'm still loving the cube, makes me happy every time i see it. my rear windows are the factory tint, pretty dark but probably not as 'limo' as the photos would indicate. also, the front tint nearly matches the rear factory tint, i'm not sure the percentage lingo though. very happy with the overall look.

Hello whtbst, I'm much more a newbie than you are, by this time. I was checking out your interior ...NICE!
I have a steel SL with the black interior. I've had my cube since june. After getting used to the black, and then seeing yours, it sure looks good. The wavey stitch pattern shows up much better in the lighter color seats . Also, the dash curves draw more attention with the lighter color, because of the contrasting panels .
I thought about dirt showing up on the lighter seats, so I went with the black, but now that I've had it a while, I've found the black to be powerful lint magnets. They literally suck everything white right to them. If they were white, they would always look clean . I ordered the clazzio seat covers to help remedy that issue. But the cloth sure is nice, especially with the original wavey pattern. :)

hey relic, thanks a lot! i was suuuper worried that grey was the wrong color choice at first because i've always been a black interior guy and i was concerned that grey would show too much filth. but it's just the opposite, the grey doesn't show any dirt at all unless you abuse it. take good care of it and it'll pay you back with good looks. i agree, the stitching of the grey seats is much more prominent and i love the contrasting dash, that was a BIG sell for me as opposed to the single black color of the black interior. i dig the black interior but gotta give the edge to grey :)
