With 144k Mike's be sure to check all your bushings that they are good and if you are north of the Sun Belt then it is a good idea to keep an eye out for rust. Keep your drain holes clear.

I just picked up a 2011 white cube with 86,000 miles on it! I enjoy the ride it gives!! Anything that were a must have as far as accessories were concerned?
There's an OEM cargo organizer for the back, but they're hard to find. It lines up flush with the back seats when they're collapsed. It makes a great place to sleep or chill when camping. I'd get an extra charger to install in the back too. I used Tinkercad to design my own custom interior hooks (it's much cheaper to have them 3D printed than to pay for OEM ripple hooks). I made a bunch for different purposes (pouches, ashtrays, cupholders, etc.). I've also heard of a hybrid EV mod for the rear axle that puts it up to 60mpg, but I can't find any info on it.

And just a side note for any new Cube owner - water will leak into the cargo bay (trunk) when you go through a carwash, or if you park it with the front-end facing downhill in the rain. I'm not sure if it's the vents or the rubber around the door.

Own a 2009 Cube SL w/ Rockford Fosgate sound, MR18DE 4 banger 1.8L with a blown head gasket on the original engine at 126K, Nissan replaced the CVT Auto tranny under warranty when it had 92K miles. Knowing what I know now about the vehicle I actually liked the ownership experience, good mileage, handling, and more than ample headroom and interior space. However, I wished it had no less than 25% more power, a more bulletproof tranny, a sunroof and maybe 4-8 more inches of wheelbase.

Annually changing the CVT transmission fluid is a must, it should be accompanied by fresh screens, CVT filters, gasket and NS-2 spec or better CVT transmission fluid. Regular oil changes every 3500- but not past 4K miles. I would install an aftermarket CVT Oil Cooler to help the JATCO gearbox and augment the diminutive stock oil cooler/warmer. At or before 150K miles, depending on your driving style, the car might be ready for a new set of front struts, use nothing less than original OEM KYB brand or better. Some people do not care for it but I like the improved throttle response when driven with K&N air filters, it also adds 1-2+ MPG on an already superlative gas mileage rating of 23-26 MPG.

Rather than allowing history to repeat itself by replacing the head gasket, I opted to DIY swap the original engine w/ blown head with the same MR18DE that was tested and intact. The head gasket replacement job would have cost $3500-4K, a local Houston mechanic quoted me $2500 including swapping a used engine, I decided to save via DIY and lucked into a used MR18DE w/ 86K miles for $485 delivery included from Amazon of all places.
