After waiting 10 years for the Smart to come to America, I was so disappointed in the re-style that I refused to even test drive one. But I do still appreciate their safety research!

The part that dissapoints me about the Smart is the lack of a true Brabus in the US. We got a seudo Brabus that includes a bodykit and wheels but no power increase or turbo. It was one of the deciding factors in me getting the Cube since I was hoping for the Brabus ultimate 112 to be released.
This is what I was waiting for.

I goggled the Smart for images and what I got back was kinda scary, lots of pictures of it in accidents. It was always the loser.

This has some good info on how resilient the Smart is. http://www.safeandsmart.com/ They are very safe in a crash.

Here it is with the top 1/2 way down. You can remove the bars above the door and drop it the rest of the way for a full convertible. The bars store in the tailgate.

The Smart convertible is wild, I have seen we have some Fit haters, don't know why. None you are not the only one. The Fit gets the same gas milage as the Smart and cost the same too, but the Smart requires premium gas so how much are you really saving?

I love my Fit, I drove it today and left the Cube at home I like the Smart, but I like the Fit more, it is more versatile for "ME".

The Titan is for pulling my boat to the lake and vacation vehicle, no vehicle has a trunk like my Titan and girls need space to pack there stuff. :yes: The Smart,Cube and Fit cant touch that.

My wife averages 45 mpg dily driving the Smart and we usually get around 55 mpg on road trips the fuel rating from Smart is based on inner city block by block driving. Yes it takes premium fuel but when you can go almost 400 miles on 8.5 gallons I do not mind much.

Fit haters, don't know why.

The Honda crowd tend to be militant d-bags, always talking down any non-Honda car (you are the first one I've come across that owns a Nissan & a Honda both) and generally acting like goons (duct taping loud exhaust cans onto their 16 second sedans, driving without hoods, installing non_DOT approved upward facing "HID" kits). The other thing that rubs me the wrong way is the complete disregard for car styling. The Fit looks like a carrot on wheels: the type of car kids draw when they are 5 years old.

You are obviously the .05% exception to the rule... good for you!!! :yes:

I agree I am very surprised to see a Honda owner who also owns a Nissan. I have had many run ins with dbag Honda owners at the track who are blatantly cheating while dragging officials over to look at my car (which was not even on the radar in my class) to claim I was cheating. When I finally finished building my own car while not working on others I was so out of the quick 8 it was almost comical. I was running 13 flat in a 2000lb car in a class where the quick 8 was made up of 1200lb Honda Hatchbacks running 10's. The only glimmer of hope I had was I would almost always win the race to the 1/8 mile before they caught me due to an ability to cut a light and a car that is a monster off the line and a pussy cat after the 1/8.

I love my Fit but I see no reason not to enjoy other vehicles too.

Example: I was at a party and this loud mouth guy was raving about his Dodge SRT 10 truck, so I told him my Nissan Titan would out do his SRT any day of the week. He looked at me like I was a freaking lunatic dumb a$$ blond, I replied how much can you tow? I can tow 10 thousand pounds, he shut right up, didn't see that coming from across the room.
