I like it! Go for it!

I was thinking of going to a trim shop. One time I needed a rear compartment cover for a car that didn't have one, and they made a slick one from scratch. But having one already done would save a lots of $.

OK! :D

We've been "testing" it out over the past week and it just gets better and better. Muscle memory has now been altered to instinctively use it so I can't fathom not having one. Several long drives this weekend with the wife was the deal sealer. I originally thought it would be too narrow but we both hand enough elbow room. Don't get me wrong, wider would be better but I've yet to find something "perfect" as it seems to be a goldilocks syndrome out there: either too narrow or two wide.

The real good news is I have been working with dink76 to make a more user friendly design. My beta unit requires fabrication of a steel bar and drilling and bolting it to the floor tunnel; NOT something for the masses to say the least. I think what we are considering will require MUCH less effort.

Have you looked at the design of the armrest for the XB? it uses the rear cup holder to lock into place.

Well I need one of these in a big way. I have the base model and it seems that I'm leaning toward the centerline of the car. A nice lean to like this would be great.
Interesting statement. I also seem to lean to the center - because it feels like my seat is slanted that way. Anyone else feel this?

Funny

My "Other Car" does not have an arm rest either so I am used to it and I don't even use the one in the Cube
