It looks good, but will it really protect stuff from flying up, Im not too sure about it since they seem a bit small.
The factory cube splashguards on my car came in white to match my car. It's cheaper to buy them in the U.S compared to Canada.

are the splashguards a black soft rubber or hard? painted same color as your car? Is there a choice? It rains alot here in vancouver!!
Mine are hard and match the color of the car. I don't think there is a choice from Nissan, in soft or hard, but maybe there is aftermarket soft one you can buy.

I'm very happy with mine, glad I have them, since it's been rainy here lately, and the roads have been muddy.

The splash guards are not visible in the brochure or at nissanusa.com  do not know why.

They cost $150 as the option as well.

Body color matched exterior, and soft black rubber toward the tire.

I did not think I would like them, but I totally doo.

does anybody have mud flaps or splash guards on their cube???? what do you think with or without??
I had been wondering about the mud flaps as well...
Last week I took my niece to the barn for her riding lesson, there was a wee puddle by the barn that I crawled through. The resulting splash well, the flaps were ordered the next day. (Five days later, Dealer said they were in from Vancouver, but when I went to pick them up -- no sign of them)

Picked up my flaps from the dealer today. Yow, much cheaper south of the border!

A quick question to those who wear flaps -- Is there supposed to be a flat surface facing the tire? These are body coloured on the one side, the tire facing side is for lack of a better description sculpted. And they even appear to have an air vent through them. I could be dating myself here -- last time I put mud flaps on a car, there was a flat surface facing the tire, not like these appear to be with all these concave surfaces to collect road salt and such.

I guess my last response to the flaps was a bit excited -- they were not quite as I was anticipating. Interesting how Nissan does not seem to show the flaps anywhere, do they interfere with the bolt-on lower body sills?

In spite of last night's mosquitoes they were easy enough to put on, removed the rear wheels to have better access.

As to the hole -- it appears to be a vent of some sort, but the redirected air would be blowing up behind the wheel well splash shields. The attached photo shows (as best as possible with black on black shadow) the hole location. It is about an inch and a half by a bit more that half an inch, enough to blow a fine salty mist when the roads get salted.

Oh, this is how they look on on my K21 coloured cube... They do fit tight, the photo catches the reflection of the edge.

My wife took one look at them, thought they were on the "subtle" side of things. "And you paid 200 bucks for these?" Good thing she was laughing... ;)

Any chance that vent hole is just that? Or a drain to keep moisture from accumulating behind the contoured portion and rusting out the fender behind it? :-\ 8)

Mine were factory mounted so I have not given much look at the mounting or vent holes. However you paid $200 for them??

They are $150 factory installed.

Christine ;)
No such luck here in Canada. When I bought the cube, they handed me a price list of the goodies that one could order from Nissan, prices included installation. Installation had been crossed out. I have checked with a couple of other dealers, all signing from the same page "nah, no way installation included" :(

Yours is the first pic I've been able to find of the splash guards anywhere. Thank you for posting that. :) I can't figure out why Nissan's web site doesn't picture them anywhere.
