I've got the same question but more concerned with the CVT option.

Just finished a 625 mile down interstate 5 from Portland, Ore to Modesto,Ca, I started with a Full tank, stopped once for gas and finished with about a half tank. I did not check any closer than that. I have a cube with the CVT. Hope this helps. bill

Just got my Pearl White KROM yesterday, doing mosty city driving with a CVT. computer says 23.5 mpg but don't let this scare you, I 'm on 1/16th of a tank probably less than a gallon. Will give a report after the first tankfull . Also a mostly highway trip to Sacaramento comming soon, will report on that too!

Thank you both. Trip computers are generally off. Could you tell me how many miles you traveled since a fillup + how many gallons it took you to top it off?

I don't know who that post was directed to KC but I will answer for myself. I used 20 gals of fuel give or take a tenth or two on my 625 mile trip. I did not buy my cube because of the reported mileage and don't care much either way, I fully expect to hear a lot of different reports of mileage. And yes I am a hell of a driver, been doing it for over 70 years. bill

Congratulations!. No offense was intended. I normally can beat the EPA mileage estimates myself. But most of the test drivers have been getting much worse mileage, the USA Today test only got 24 mpg in a long stretch of highway driving (albeit, in a headwind).

Go olyumabill !!!! Can't argue with experience !! I'm looking to see people getting 35 MPG after break-in using things like synthetic oil and the autopilot set to no more than 65 MPH. Shouldn't be much of a stretch to reach that figure. 8)

I did my first fillup in my KROM with the CVT today. ;D

I went 263 miles with this tank. I averaged 39mph according to the computer with this tank.

My miles per gallon was 33.2!!! That is with manualy calculating the MPG with a calculator. I always get the receipt and write the average speed, miles driven and the MPG on it and just save the receipts. It really helps with keeping track of this.

The computer said I got 33.8 miles per gallon; so it isn't the most accurate ways of figuring the fuel useage.

Thank you all for the replies. I made a call to the dealership this morning and I'm hoping to be taking home a 1.8s by next weekend. If you guys have more please keep them coming.

It had more than a half tank of gas, but I went ahead and filled up tonight. I can't stop driving this thing! It is so smooth and so much fun, I'm addicted. lol

I put in 5.049 gallons of gas
I drove 153.1 miles
which equates to 30.32 miles per gallon

This is lower than the 33.2 miles per gallon I got last time. BUT this time, the average speed was 34 miles per hour versus the 39 mile per hour average speed of the first tank of gas.

At this rate and this amount of driving, it'll be broken in, in less than two weeks. I've decided to take it on a 700 mile trip at the end of next month. I can't wait to see what my Gas Mileage is with strictly 70 mph speeds.

Gilroy to Sacramento 31.7 mpg Sacramento to Gilroy 32.8 Krom CVT between 65-70mph windy conditions.Car loaded to the gills. Not bad considering this is well before the first oil change.
Wait till this baby breaks in!

That is awesome.

At the rate I've been driving mine, it should be broken in within a week. I'm going on a very long trip in around a month, I can't wait to see what the gas mileage will be. I will be sure to post it up.

I'm in South Florida and it's very flat. Only hills are garbage dumps. Anyway, I have 450 miles on my new cube and the computer says I'm getting 27.5. Next week I'm heading north to Orlando, Florida Turnpike and very curious if it gets better than 35.

I don't have many miles on the cube yet, but figured I'd post. I've got the Cube S with the CVT. I have not filled up yet so I have not calculated the mpg manually so I only have what the computer says I'm getting. This is the mpg with ALL city driving so far.
