Walking to the gym from my car and what pulled into the parking lot? A moss green Cube, only the 4th one I've seen on the street! Waited for the owner to get out and accosted her to ask how she liked it. Said she loved it, best car she had ever owned. Bought the first one in Texas, not sure how she knew that, but I'll take her word. She had been waiting for them to come in since she first saw a picture and was first in line. No problems to date. Likes the smooth ride (as do I).

She said when she first got it she came out one day and 10 people were standing around it. People still snap pictures all the time from passing cars. She sees people hand gesturing in cars behind her as if commenting on the asymmetry. Funny! Can't wait for my 2010 to come in!

Disappointed that 27 clowns didn't pour out of it.

I've only seen a couple of Cubes in our area. Usually I see a Cube when I'm in my MINI Clubman and then I see MINIs when I'm driving the Cube. I always do the wave with MINIs and so far one other Cuber has waved back. I hope it catches on as both cars are great and it's nice to share with fellow owners.

I'd like to see more Cube products out there like jackets, caps, more fun items. I did buy a small Rubik's cube that has the Pixar cars on it. I keep it in one of the cup holders. Just kind of fun.

I'll take some photos of my gorillas in the Cube and MINI tomorrow. Finally I have a partial day off tomorrow to catch up on life a bit.

you can buy shirts from the nissan cube store...but they only have strange slogans on them :p http://nissancube.spreadshirt.com/ (my favorite is, "i've got room for 5 in here." lol!)

my boyfriend's dad spotted a moss green cube the other day, and my mom saw a blue one a few weeks ago. so far, i've only seen one in person - a scarlet red S...and i saw it 2 times, so the owner must live close by  my bf has seen 4 or 5, though, but he drives a lot more than i do. currently, i take the bus to work, and i don't focus on the road much because i'm usually reading.

Took a few of the gorillas in the Cube and MINI. It is always difficult to get the features with the black, but in person they look great riding along.

Well,I owned a stuffed animal shop and I hated to see the lifesize Kokos waiting for a buyer. So I ended up keeping them. I used to have the two lifesized Kokos in the back of my BMW convertible. And then the male gorilla came along and he gets to sit in the MINI. I never have passengers except the dogs, so it keeps me company. I don't think about it that much and then someone pulls up and looks and smiles. That makes it worth it.
Of course, one day someone at the light yellled out to me that I was a psychopath. Whatever. I do it because I enjoy it.

Tuesday the accent stripes go on with a rabbit at the front of the car being chased by Greyhounds at various intervals around the car. I'll take a photo of it. I can't wait to see it on there.

Well, there're always idiots out there, what can you do :(! Personally, I think your gorilla friends are beyond cool! Many happy miles with both them and your Cube :)!

Wow Oddo, that is great, having those Gorillas in your two cars. I love that. I need to do something like that, I mostly drive by my lonesome too.

I've seen four Cubes since I got mine. Three on the road and one in a parking lot where the guy came up and we talked for a few minutes.

It's a lot of fun having Koko (in the Cube) or Michael (the gorilla in the MINI) along. I do take Koko out when I have to leave her in a parking lot where someone might break in to take her, but most of my errands are quick runs into the post office or driving through a bank, so they are ok. Plus the cars are garaged unless I have to go out for an errand.

I had a stuffed animal store so had more access to finding the big guys, but after I sold the one in my MINI 18 months ago because a customer begged and pleaded for him, I missed the gorilla so much that I went online to find an identical brother. That gorilla is Michael. The first one was named Joe. I knew the gorilla had been discontinued so I was elated to find a site where he was still available.

You can find some large friends on eBay or do a search for lifesize animals of your choice.

It feels really strange to not have one next to me if I do take them out for the day. I find myself apologizing to them for removing them from their ride.

The worst thing is that I have a second Koko waiting for her ride. The two Kokos used to be in my BMW 330 convertible and never left it until I sold it this summer. Now the 2nd one is in protective bags until I someday get a MINI convertible. I feel so bad for her waiting out there. Nuts, eh?
