:
Greetings to fellow Cubists from Victoria,British Columbia,Canada from a 70 years young at heart Cubist.
;D Could I be the oldest owner so far? :
I have liked the Cube after seeing them on past trips to Japan but not the 2009 model though.
Was glad to see they had arrived on our shores at last.
I was at the local Nissan dealer on the 6th of June for their special showing of 12 models [all gone by the 8th!]
and what they had out front [6 cars] did not appeal to me colour wise mostly 1.8S which are nice but I wanted the 1.8SL in K21 dark Grey metallic and charcoal interior.
Tyler Lemmon,my sales contact yelled at me "Bryan we have what you want in the back,I'll bring it round".
Sure enough there it was in all it's glory with the seat protectors still in place including the Technology Package and 6KM on the clock.
It must have been been fate.It had my name on it!
I signed up and I am now in debt to Nissan Finance for a few years but what the heck!
The took my '95 GMC Sonoma SLE truck with extended cab in trade.
The Cube caused quite an attraction so Tyler locked it up with a "SOLD" sign.
I have been driving my 1.8SL in K21 Platinum metallic a dark grey [gun metal or steel grey] with charcoal interior for the last 10 very enjoyable days now.
It came with the Technology package which I am glad it did.Like the sonar feature.
Especially like the Intelligent key system, automatic climate control etc etc.
I have only driven 155 KM so far and I am getting 6.8 Litres per 100KM city and some highway.
Not sure if the Canadian versions Cubes MPG's are in Imperial measure or US Gallon which is about 3.7 Litres.
It is a pleasure to drive as I'm sure everybody is finding out.
Have we any other BC folks on here yet.
Happy Cubing [new verb?] to all,
Bryan.
A PS.
I had not test driven the Cube so when I drove it off it had 7KM on it.
1KM by Tyler getting full tank of gas.
I found it very easy to drive and took to it right away.
PPS Bill in Yuma,AZ is 83.5 Years and said that as for me at 70 you are just a young pup!!
Put a spring in my step I can tell you.
He must be the oldest/young at heart Cubist for sure.
