Had anyone installed one of these yet as an add on? I have one coming and was not sure if it is just a plug and play or if there will be more to it, also I was concerned that I would have to stop at a dealership and have them turn the option on through their computer seeing as my cube did not come with it already installed from the factory.
Thanks, Rick

I will let you know how it turns out, I am going to put my pics up of my cube after tuesday when the windows get tinted and my aux interface comes in for my sirius tuner so I don't have to use the aux in on the front of the factory headunit. Plus it needs a nice wash and wax!!

I bought mine from the dealer a month ago $55. Have not installed yet. Requires R&R of dash panels and some wire taps. Instructions seem easy to follow although I can see an hour easy to install and test. So make it two for me . Testing/Adjusting sensitivity, according to instructions, is done by
A) roll down driver window
B) Close all doors and lock with remote
C) Wait until anti theft light changes from solid to blinking
D) Lightly slap the steering wheel
E) Alarm should trigger
F) Disarm with remote
G) Adjust sensitivity knob on impact sensor and repeat until desired results are achieved.

They recommend starting sensitivity at "3". 1=Least Sensitive 11=Most.

Hope this helps. 8)

Excellent!! I have installed ALOT of car audio stuff over my 15 years of doing it but I am NEVER comfortable doing an install with factory parts or by factory directions because usually they go way to far with the instructions or don't give enough, I can rewire a complete car in 1 hour but when adding factory options to my vehicles I go ALOT slower and double check everything, although I must say so far the few Nissan parts I have purchased and installed for the Cube have been relatively painless and the results were fantastic. Excited for the sensor to get here, I will keep you all posted on the install and results, Thanks!!! Rick
