If you had your choice to buy your Cube with one of the many options available in Japan, which would it be?

• Sunroof
• DVD/Navigation System
• Front-mount cornering camera
• Shag floor mats
• Halo fog lamps
• E4wd
• Driving recorder(kind-of like police have here
• Etc...

Interesting fact, did you know that the shag dash-topper only costs 4200 yen (roughly $36) as an option?

Please, post your thoughts... Mind you those listed above are genuine Nissan options, not aftermarket, but these are just suggestions. The real question is what would you like to have seen as an option here???

1.The simple lidded storage container as per the Japanese Nissan Optional Parts brochure,in dark grey.
Katagana says I think in Japanglish "ruggagie anda-poe-doh" would that be "luggage under pod" ??
Costly at 31,500 Yen a little bit of Waribiki [discount] bargaining would be in order.

Not the silly shoddy Styrofoam based version they try to foist on us here at a heavy price I might add!

Mention it to the dealers this and other items and they look very blankly as I mention what could be available here.
I am sure that there is a market here for many items.
Japan is full of cell phone accessories for another example of missed marketing but there is nothing here to speak of.
I watch TVJapan and I see lots of goodies we never see.

2.Key fob cover.With key chain attachment.Again at 5,000 Yen a bit pricey.

3.Front sonar system.

4. Bungee nets.

5. Rear view TV monitor.

Etc Etc.

Nothing else, really.

I hadn't thought of a front sonar. I can't see the bonnet (oh, alright, then - hood) in the Versa, and I'm always amazed at how far away I am from an object in front when I think I must be touching it already. Better than vice versa, though, I suppose.

Sunroof must change the structure and not pass safety standards.

Lights, a DOT issue.

Sunroof and Shag Carpets!

Nav system is a waste from the factory unless it's actually premium, because anyone that REALLY cares is going to upgrade. But in Japan they really need it.... no street names...it's a bitch... we just memorized everything, or asked locals.

I'll take one also. I would love to have awd in the cube, but not at stock power levels. Need at least 50+ horse just to get out of it's own way.

I wouldn't mind all wheel drive... would make winter driving better/safer... and all..

I think Nissan did a really good job with our cubes... Love my base 1.8 Cube... everything I wanted and nothing I didn't...

After doing the stereo and looking at exhaust etc, this thing is made to modify! So have fun! I like aftermarket mods much better then OEM efforts of personalizing cars...

So I am doing it for them

I ordered a 1.8 emblem, SL emblem, and also the xtronic CVT emblem.

I only got the 1.8 in so far and put it on. And everyone knows what the SL looks like, but here is the CVT one I also ordered.....
