I violated Cube etiquette.... ROOF RACK / RAILS for my bikes

So I wanted to go the cheapest route possible without have to buy another bike rack. So I ordered and installed some roof rails from Perrycraft for 100 dollars and put on my aero Thule rack from my old car. Install went great and easy. Here are the pictures. If you want day time pictures let me know, I think someone put on roof rails on there car too on this forum. OH and I am really bummed that one of my headlights has fogged up, unfortunately I do not think it will be covered under warranty because of the HIDs, unless someone else knows if is for sure. I did not have to do any modifications to the headlights so I am not too sure.

OOOOOOOH the light part sucks! When that starts it does not go away. Bummer huge!

Ok rethinking that.
looks good. so you drilled into the roof for that? i know nothing about racks, but i'm assuming they all require drilling? that suxors about the fogging headlights. that condensation tends to accelerate yellowing too over time. :(
LOL, you guys are making me sad about the headlight... :( LOL, I have a feeling I will be buying a new headlight in the near future.... Anyways, most roof racks DO NOT require drilling in the roof. However, I did not want to spend another $400 dollars on the Yakima roof rack system, which probably would have been the same for Thule. I bought roof rails for $90 which are permanently attached to the roof via drilling and screws. (can remove them but there will be holes left). THe bike rack just attaches to the roof rails and can be removed and attached easily.
So I left my hood open last night and took out the headlight bulb and left it open all last night. The condensation is gone! Leaving it open all day again today to see of the last of the water droplets will go away.

I once had a Suburu that had that problem. I could get it to clear up by blowing a hot air gun into the lamp. However there was a tiny leak of some sort that I could never find and fix so the fog kept returning. Eventually the light started rusting inside. I replaced the car to fix it.

HAH! That is the way to go!
Keep an eye on the factory screws. Mine started to rust almost immediately. I cleaned and covered them with a commercial grade sealant.
thanks for posting pics! i'm in love with this set up! been looking for a set of rails like this for awhile. do you know the perrycraft model (dynasport maybe?) and also where you got them from? i can only find ugly powdercoated black.
