How many gallons to fill up?

Even though my cube claims to have 13 gallon gas tank it has consistently blinking the 3 dashed lines at me indicating I need to fill up, then when I do it only holds 10 gallons. What is everyone else experiencing? Is this consistent or do I have something going on?

This is a common feature in all cars. Depending on the model cube you have, the computer may tell you the range you have left on your tank of gas. If not, I can tell you that the cube typically gives you about another 50 miles on that tank. Your normal gas gauge will warn you that you should refill BEFORE it gets dangerously low. This is to give you enough time to find a gas station before you are running on fumes.
Canadian Cubes show the tank to be 50L, which is slightly less than 13 USGL (1USGL = 3.8L). Maybe they just rounded up?
Probably the other way around. Nissan is a Japanese company, so the tank is probably 50 L like it says in Canada. But we stupid Americans use our own measuring system, and it just wouldn't do to have a tank that holds 13.15789 gallons of gas. In fact anyone that saw a specification like that would likely end up spending hours trying to figure out why they would make a tank that holds exactly 13.15789 gallons. Round it down to 13 gallons and people are much more comfortable.

Yeah, that's about the same for me. I think they just want you to fill up so you don't run out of gas. It's kind of a safety features all car companies do. When you are on E you still have a little bit left in the tank in case of emergencies.
I've filled mine twice since I've gotten it, and both times, I've only been able to get 10 gallons in it, and that was when my fuel gauge was at 2 bars, and the miles left to drive just show "--" rather than how many miles I could go.
