what's the largest wheel/tire package you can install without any clearance issues? I wanna drop it about 1.5" too. pls advise.

I think the biggest you could go with a 1.5" drop would be 19". Of course, it always depends on the offset and width (and the tire size) of the wheel...

THe wicked thing about the cube is THERE IS NO REAR FENDER LIP! You can run some mad offsets on stretched tires!!!!!!!!!!

just went Plus 1. Saving my duckets for Plus 2 and the 1.5" drop. H & R so far only with a part number out. I need to get this bugger lowered!

Road noise definitely up. More harsh. Haven't seen what the impact on gas mileage is. All these I can live with.

Well, you can always use springs from the Nissan Versa. They fit!

I had my Box on bags before but was a pain. Think I am just going to stick with lowerin springs this time.

so you got rubbing issues eh? that's what i'm worried about when i drop. if you're rubbing now, what'd happen when you go down an inch or so? will it get worse?

You can probably go to 18" with a 1.5" drop without any issues.

I would say a 18 is the biggest i would go..I mean this car is a econo box, just drop it a bit and put some nice 16's on it and youll be set..when you drop the car, especially a car like the cube the wheels tend to look bigger because of the small wheel wells..

I hope the 18x4.5 is a typo or I am screwed. I just got 18x7.5 +45mm and was told they should fit by tirerack.com

Dink, that fitment should be fine. 18x4.5 would be like mini donk pizza cutters...definatly a typo.

But also don't trust Tire Rack for there recommended tire size either, rims seem to be ok but the tires are way off from stock rollout.

I bought from them and selected my own tire size and they make you fill out a disclaimer about getting the wrong size or unrecommended. Mine were a perfect match to stock, there would have tripped up the speedo huge.
