I will be getting my Chrome Silver SL cube soon, got one reserved with one of the local dealer, awaiting for bank approvals. Hoping to get it this weekend :)

We have only the S and SL trim levels in Canada, no Base or the Krom versions. However, our SL trim has few extra factory options compares to the American version. We also have different names for most of the colors (colours), only the Chrome Silver is the same. You can check it out at our Canadian site: http://www.nissan.ca/buying/configurator/en/modelChooser.html?vehicle=D

Cheers

Glad to see another BC-ite here.
I am in Victoria, you did not say where you are!
The Japanese have another set of colour names which I commented on on another thread.
I am calling my 1.8SL w/tech package "Twilight Gray" ala Japanese brochure [K21] rather than Platinum grey in the Canadian brochure [K21].
Yes we are left out in regards to various models.
I am not complaining as I very much like my SL as I drive off into the Twilight Gray Zone.
Cheers,
Bryan.

That's interesting ... the Canadian (Chrome Silver) is the American (Steel Gray). The American (Chrome Silver) is the Canadian (Platinum).

I'm picking up my Cube from the Dealer on Saturday, I got the SL model in the American Chrome Silver (Platinum).

I'm in Vancouver, Bryan. I have also ordered with the tech option

Can't wait, can't wait

Frank
I know the feeling I ;D waited three days till they did the undercoat and paint protection etc etc.
This was on June 9th.
I drove mine off the lot with 7 KM on the speedo.Never did a test drive and took to the CUBE immediately.
Been loving it ever since.
You will find the Tech options with the Intelligent key a great asset.
I have the in Japan "graphite" in Canada 'Black cloth" interior which I also like.
Push button start is great as is the rear sonar which by the way in Japan you can get front sonar option which would have been nice to have.
I tried the sound system with the Fosgate thingy and with a satellite signal of party disco music and I could not stand the volume past 20.
I am not one of those boomer's making themselves deaf at an early age although due to my age it is bit late in the day for me and I want to keep all my faculties for as long as possible!!
I have had 2 calls from the satellite company within the first week trying to get me to sign on right away.
I more or less told them to get knotted and call me after the trial period.
They sounded desperate for customers.

 All in all you will love it guaranteed.

Happy Cubing to you Frank from the Twilight Zone in Victoria.

hana, I will be picking up mine tomorrow from Southside Nissan (between Main & Cambie on Marine Dr). I utilized the Scrap It program whereas the dealer subsidize $250, on top of that I get a set of lock lugs and free tank of gas, that's it. If i didn't go through the Scrap It program, the sales guy told me the best they can do is throw in couple accessories (~$200 worth). Hope you can do better than me.

Yeah, I went to Pan Pacific Nissan (Richmond Auto Mall) and didn't like the salesman, he wasn't knowledgement, test drove one and went to Southside, the guys that I talked to was quite knowledgeable about the cube.

I got the Chrome Silver, they had to bring it in for me. It's was between this and the Glacier Pearl.

I got the dealer invoice price through carcostcanada.com (paid $30 for the membership), in general, the MSRP on the SL is around $1300 over the dealer cost. That might give you some idea what you can bargain for. Unfortunately, the cube is in demand, not much incentive for the dealer to give much bargain at the moment.

I think it means Pacific North West, he/she likely from the state side.

Hi hana, sorry for the confusion, I paid the MSRP. Just priced the S with manual tranny and S with CVT for you:
S w/manual: MSRP $16,998.00, Dealer Cost $16020.00
S w/CVT: MSRP $18,298.00 Dealer Cost $17246.00

I live in Yaletown.

No problem with the questions, glad that I could help ;)

Hi Bryan, couldn't agree with you more, I'm geeky and naturally love tech gadgets. Push start is just plain cool, smooth start every time. Rear sonar, wish it has dynamic distance feedback but still good as it is. Bluetooth speakerphone, iPod/iPhone connect :p, The Rockford fosgate package and the Clarion head (I read somewhere) combo is awesome, love Clarion. Still trying to figure out how the little black button on the front and tailgate handles work. I believe after certain period of time after you have locked the doors, you can reopen one of these door without using the fob/key by push the little black button while pulling the door handle. I just love the cube, inside & outside, driving it puts a smile on my face :)

There you go Frank,I knew you'd like it.

We just have to get Hana in her new Cube !! ;)

I am an older type geek and yesterday I had to field questions from curious onlookers.Again!
I could easily be a salesman!
I know exactly what you mean about the buttons. All the bleeps and pushing button more bleeps.
Finally got the hang of it.
Others trying to get in the passenger side always have problems with the button and door handle expecting it to open just like other cars but the Cube is 8) and not like other cars
I hit the unlock button on the fob in the end!
I would like one of those key fob cases they sell in Japan.
Umm I wonder who is going there soon?
Cheers,Bryan.
