More than likely the officer thought it was a grey market car, like someone imported an old Skyline that doessn't meet DOT standards. Once he saw that it was legal in the system, he let her go and will not pull over any more Cubes.elDizzle_foShizzle said:wow. stuff like that from LEOs that make me disrespect them. pulled over for what? just because. nice. NOT. no reason given for the stop, no nothing, eh? i suppose you still had your temp plates on too? this LEO = FAIL.
I see this going very badly for youpalaina.kawika said:if i get pulled over for somthing stupid like that then i'm goin off on the cop. every time i get in my car and drive, i'm late. so if a cop makes me even more late for no reason, he's getting a mouthful. lol
Here in Ohio I-75 and I-70 cross right near where I live and there are a LOT of drugs pulled off the road here. When the State Troopers pull someone over they ask if they have anything in the car and if they mind them searching the car. It's amazing the number of people who agree to it.elDizzle_foShizzle said:wow. stuff like that from LEOs that make me disrespect them. pulled over for what? just because. nice. Would you please post a picture of the back of your Cube? My wife and I de-badged our Honda Element (and had the body shop fill and paint the holes). Since we also have a white cube, I'm curious how it would look without the Nissan emblem. Also, how did go about de-badging?ChristineK said:He never said why he pulled me over, but I am to think it was because I de-badged and he had no earthly idea what the vehicle was.
...or look for something to justify probable cause, i.e., profiling. we can all ask, "what if?" but the fact is, the LEO didn't give a reason for the stop. Last i checked, we needed to be informed of the stop?Mr.Bubble said:I am not going to speculate too much on why he may have pulled you over. It doesn't take much to get probable cause.
