Here's todays Autoweek.com:
Nissan Cube
Thanks to notoriety gained through the press and internet, Nissan is finally bringing its take on the box to the United States with the debut of the new third-generation Cube.
Set to arrive at dealers next spring, the new Cube keeps its square appearance for maximum interior space potential. A-pillars remain far out with a steep rake, the car has a wide track, and tall dimensions keep the Cube true to form.
Inside, seating is configured with the rear sliding bench seats set higher than the front in theater fashion. Additional features in the curve-themed interior include a floating instrument cluster, a "Magic Rubber Bands" door armrest system that can secure small items, and a dashboard shelf unit that can be customized with faux-wood trim or shag carpet liners.
Moving the Cube is a 1.8-liter, 122-hp, inline-four shared with the Versa, mated to either a continuously variable or six-speed manual transmission. Equipped with the CVT, Nissan estimates that the Cube's highway fuel economy will be more than 30 mpg.
Standard equipment includes anti-lock brakes, electronic brake distribution, brake assist, stability control, traction control and six airbags. Push button start, Bluetooth, satellite radio, iPod interface and a rear sonar system are available as options.
Pricing has not been announced, but expect the Cube's base price to be around $20,000

Nissan has unveiled the new third-generation Nissan Cube with launch events taking place today in Japan, United States and Europe. The new Nissan Cube for the global markets keeps its iconic “cubic” styling from previous generations which is basically boxy and boring (some may find it attractive since it’s ‘different’).
Sales of the new 2010 Nissan Cube will begin on Nov. 26 in Japan. The North American market will get their allocation in spring of 2009 followed by the European market in fall of 2009. Pricing begins at 1,449,000 yen ($14,968 USD) for the 2WD model and 1,687,350 yen ($17,433 USD) for the 4WD model
