Hey All,

Need your help.

Years ago I had a set of TSW VX1 Wheels and I bought a set of center locks. These were a cone with a threaded chrome bolt that went threw the back side of the wheel center hub, it had an anodized nut and spring bail to hold the nut in place. It was just a dress up item and served no performance purpose. It was a dramatic difference in the overall appearance of the wheel though. I tried to find a picture but this center was about the closest I could find. What I am looking for would have a big nut and bail instead of the small hex. But if you can find this I will look/consider it too

I have searched high and low for this now and cannot find it from TSW or any other aftermarket vendor. Anyone ever seen these or know where to find them? I would truly appreciate your help.

Christine

NO-ONE???

Here is a picture of my TSW VX1 with the center cap in question.

Someone has to know where to get these?
i loved those wheels! i rocked them waaaay back in the day on my ol' 97 Civic. They looked great (actually coming out way past the rim!---any shots from the rear?) but were too soft. I had to straighten out too many times after hitting some rather smallish potholes. oh well.

+1 boxcar! i have a set of Niche shocking shock wheels that i'm thinking of mounting on the cube. I could use those same center caps as well! the OEM are $90 apiece! ouchers!

I emailed the seller on another Enkie setup he had. But the one you posted looks to be a perfect fit at 2 3/16.
:D ;) 8)
Nice. Glad it's going to work out for you. Better grab them quick. Seems you might have peaked some interest in them.

Damn, those are expensive. I couldn't find any more of the Epics in a google search. Maybe someone else will have better luck finding some more sets or if Christine doesn't grab them, go for it.

Quiet you :D

You would think they would be easier to find but NO

I have a project I am going to use them on. The Enkie listed, Emblemguy has only one.

Is this a visual effect or do they serve a purpose? This plus the lugs almost looks like a guy wearing a belt and suspenders too.

What? :-\
he's saying those are redundant. real race cars have a single nut to remove the entire wheel. check this out: http://www.autoblog.com/2008/04/11/one-lug-aftermarket-wheels-for-the-masses/ and this: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.erebunicorp.com/wheels/wimages/GIRL.JPG&imgrefurl=http://www.erebunicorp.com/carspecials/wheelspecial.htm&usg=__xHZ95gmsXhmjtnWegruebVO0WAA=&h=708&w=600&sz=185&hl=en&start=11&um=1&tbnid=InhjqqQWSY2tSM:&tbnh=140&tbnw=119&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dtoora%2Bwheels%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1B3GGGL_enUS231US231%26sa%3DN%26um%3D1those things she's looking for are for appearance only, as our wheels are held on by multiple lug nuts. C'mon Nigal, those were cool back in the day when the tuner scene was fairly young---before the F&F bs. :p lots of manufacturers jumped on (and still do) on the whole 'race look'.

Understood. Yea, considering most road-going cars don't sport centerlock wheels, this particular part would serve no actual purpose.

These serve no purpose except to improve appearance, like so many items we add or wish to add the the vehicle, 20 color lighting, lighted sills, chrome ripple DIY hooks, JDM clear headlight buckets.

It is not the performance issue but the preference issue. Once you see what I am doing it will all be crystal clear.

Girl has ideas

Guys be worried! Girl is moving forward with big ideas! 8)

Glad to see no ones talking you out of it. It's your car, if that's what you want go for it! Plus I can't wait to see what you have in store for your Cube:)
