Was this ever an option from factory?

I ask because I have a 2009 SL that I swapped with a 6 speed after the CVT died. The cruise control buttons don’t work after the swap though.

I was just curious if there would be a way to get the buttons working again.
I think they came with it in Japan but I’m not sure about the US.

If anyone has gotten factory cruise control to work after a manual trans swap that would be awesome to get some help. Thanks!

There are vehicles that have cruise control and manual transmissions. The major difference is that the cruise control disengages when the clutch pedal is depressed. I have a 6 speed Cube and I perceive this as a major drawback. Every time you'd want to accelerate by shifting into a lower gear you'd have to re-engage the cruise control. With a CVT or automatic you simply press the accelerate button on the steering wheel to briefly accelerate then let off to go back to a constant speed.
