CVT Filter VS Screen

I'm wondering if I really need to drop the pan and clean the screen, or if changing the filter would be enough. The I know the screen catches debris and the magnets should be cleaned though. Bought my cube with 93k and immidiately did a fluid change. Have 135k now. Runs good, but need to do at least the filter and fluid.

Let me rephrase what I mean by "weren't many small particles on the magnets" if It looks & feels like a paste of black smudge it's normal wear & tear. I posted a video about how the Asian Mechanic did it he even reused the pan gasket. I had a new gasket but, if it's not broken don't fix it.
