I'm a bigger fan of the JDM version due to more feature which I thought would carry over to the US Spec version.
Not happy that there is no Sunroof, bench-seats, and especially e-drive(awd system) we get instead traction control, whatever.
I would rather see this than the fancy A/C system and push start.

Wow , best detailed breakdown yet. love the ceiling, like the gauges W/ temp but not so happy with fancy A/c controls, and on the JDM I saw they had IPOD docking at the bottom of the dash in a mesh pocket. But we only get an AUX imput on the head unit?

Re: Cube Video

I do agree with you in regards to the I pod connection, but the headliner should have been axed somewhere in the planning process(no offense but a few years from you might get tired of it) while everything else from the JDM Spec version should have made it here. This is lost in translation personified.
US SPEC LACKS
-no bench seats landuary
-no sun roof
-no manual HAVC knobs (much nicer look and simple)
-no AWD
-no column shifter
-no bi xeons
-no rear mounted camera.
just sad for something I waited too long for...Goshen, I am going to put laundry clips on your big nose.
Re: Cube Video

See I'm reading disappointed posts, but I'm really digging the US Spec model. I'm glad that the glass part of the roof isn't an option. I've had a car with a moonroof and it leaked, not fun. From the "personalization" standpoint, I can't go wrong. The Cube has a lot of potential.

Goon,

I like the roof because it replaces that ugly "water drop" in the head liner.

Re: Cube Video

Ahhh gotcha. I think it was US crash regulations that nixed the glass roof. I wish I could see the JDM Cube from the inside where the windsheild ends and the glass section begins. It's all in roll-over protection. Even though I like the raindrop theme, it still strikes me odd as how something circular can be included as a design cue on a model called a Cube. Who know's when I see it tomorrow I could totally hate it.

Definitely agree with you Goon.

Well, lets hear what Mr. Goon has to tell us after the show. Please ask a Nissan rep about the roof E-AWD being optional.
I sure love that glass roof the most.

Oh, you bet I'll ask, in the past when I've asked a rep about a certain feature on a newly debuted car they are clueless. I'm gonna take bets that the reps won't even know what e4WD is or that in Japan the Cube has a cool sunroof. Doesn't hurt to ask though. I'll have a full report tomorrow afternoon/evening.

Re: Cube Video

Thank you very much. I think with all the info we came up with over the past few months, Goshen should have us on his team. Your right about some of those knuckle-draggers they have as spokes people, but maybe one has a brain.
I might actually go to Japan in a few months, but if I don't, I will have my friend try to get a JDM brochure on this thing. The showrooms there
are pretty awesome too, particularly the one in right outside Chiba where there is a huge parking lot/test track.
