I was looking around online last night and visited one of my fav manufacturers for wheels in Japan, RS Watanabe. They make a very classic wheel that has been around for a long time (much like the original Mini Light, etc), but they seems to fit better along the lines of Japanese aesthetics...see for yourself:

I really like that design. I'm currently rockin the Rota RB wheels on my MINI Cooper. They are more of a Panasport copy so the spokes have more of an edge. I'm diggin the way the older cube looks on the Wantanabe's though!

Goon - there is a mag in Japan that caters individual issues for a specific make/model...and all aftermarket parts....Called HyperRev. Here is the one HyperRev issue that caters to the small box car segment (??????????):

I don't know what kind of wheels I'm going to put on the Cube when I get it, but they will be something quirky looking & in gold or bronze. (^_^ )
