Hey all,

I just turned 5,534 miles on my Cube SL. I drove from Amarillo, TX to St Louis to Chicago, then to Cooperstown, NY, then Boston, headed south to CT then to NY and Baltimore. Then on to Knoxville, Birmingham, The Gulf Coast, Baton Rouge, then back to Amarillo. Average mpg = 33.8.

It is a comfortable ride. Plenty of speed and power on the interstate. Climate control was great. I got all kinds of questions everywhere I went. A biker said "I think if you water that car, you might have it grow into a black Yukon."

By the way, in all those miles I never saw another cube...

Awesome trip. What was your longest day and how well did the seats work? I bought mine for a city car but have been wondering how the drivers position/seat relationship would work out on a long trip.

Morning,

The seats work well. I did get a little arm weary with the arm rest. I have my seat cranked all the way down. My longest ride was Amarillo to southern Indiana. I left at 10:30 on a Thursday nite and stopped just over the border into Indiana by 8:30 the next evening (rather dumb). My right leg was a little tired but all went well. Gas was dropping so the trip was more economical than planned. I did get two small chips in the windshield. This will be no big deal as we get sand blasted in West Texas most of the year.
