Don't look now, but as of yesterday, the Nissan USA website has added a section on the Cube. No details unfortunately, just links to the articles that have been written on the previous design. However, that does add credence to the belief that the new Cube is going to be real similar to the existing one.

That's great news! I'm glad to see that Nissan is starting to promote the Cube for the North American market. More people need to know about this funky ride.

And welcome to the community MasterKC!
Autoblog had a mention about the official Nissan US website.

Looks like you beat them to it MasterKC. ;D
Wow, looking at the comments on that autoblog site, I hope Nissan doesn't pay attention to them. Most of the comments appear to be from generation Y'ers, that have no concept of form-follows-function. It appears that Nissan took some styling cues from the 1950s Jeep FC vehicles; I wonder what those commenters would think of FC's?

No one knows how much the next generation Cube is going to look like the present one, but here are my guesses:
1. The asymetric rear window gets changed, either to a symetric one, or a "flipped" version for the US.
2. Bucket seats become an option or even standard.
3. The US gets the 1.8 L engine, fuel economy drops to 33 ish on the highway.

It would be a mistake for Nissan to make the rear window symetric, that is a trademark feature of the Cube. I think that it will be flipped for the left hand drive regions unless Nissan decides that it is not financially economical for them to make two versions.
