It's amazing what a $19.95 roll of flexable chrome trim can do. It's the same stuff as the door bumper guards only 1/8th wide. You can get it at Kragens, All parts, pep boys etc.
Grew up in the autobody business & my concern would be durability over time....BUT I think it looks great and will be heading to the store to see if I see any quality product that I think would work well for that! Kuddos for thinking outside the box!
