Hello,

Just bought a Cube, had to settle for the all-black interior. I'm ok with the dark doors etc, and the seats I can cover, but what I'd like to do is get the light grey dash piece and swap it out with my black one to create that two-tone dash look.... Does anyone know if this is doable? I imagine the part can be ordered, and I could probably get the service dept. to install it.... Does anyone have some input? Thanks.

I don't know how difficult it is to remove that piece, but you could always take it out & paint it (if you are crafty).

...you can paint it...I understand Krylon spray paints (for plastics) are formulated to chemically bond. I think someone over at the Honda Element forum spoke of doing their dash pieces (with several pics shown).

Definetly take them out and paint. I did all the interior pieces in my XB. Going to do the pieces in the cube as soon as I choose a color to match the new headliner fabric.
