Anyone sign up for or recieve the inter-active cd Rom from the Nissan Website? I'm waiting for mine to arrive in the mail. I need to go out and buy a web cam when I get it. Never owned a web cam before so I guess this is an excuse to buy one. 8)

When someone recieves the CD ROM, let me know if you get it to work properly. I'm not getting any 3-D pop up type images or anything. Just an image of me holding the card up to the camera. I must be doing something wrong. Hope I didn't buy the camera for nothing, because I really had no other use for it.

I just got mine in the mail and and the marketing team might not realize that there is an increasing amount of Mac users who must run Mac formated discs. Not very happy.

Got my Nissan Cube CD-ROM today, loaded it onto my MacBook (I use "Crossover" to run Windows apps on my Mac simply and easily).

The program runs fine EXCEPT it does not recognize the built-in webcam that is staring at me from the frame of the display.  :-\

So: Program runs, can't find the webcam, complains about that, shuts down.  :(

Hi Everyone,

I just registered. I am interested in checking out a Cube when they appear around here but in the meantime I was looking around the 'net to see if anyone got the CD working with their webcam since it's not working on my system.

I think I can help some of the people in this thread even though I don't have it working yet. You don't start your webcam first and then just put the cards in front of it, you start the program that the CD installs, which then starts your webcam automatically. If you start the webcam first, then the program won't find your webcam because it's already occupied by the software that came with the webcam. The program the CD installs intercepts the webcam images and translates them to the 3D stuff. If you already have the webcam streaming into something, the program can't intercept the stream.

On my system (which meets the specs listed on the package) the application starts and then starts the webcam, then goes to a totally black screen which shows nothing, regardless of whether I put up the cards or not. The only way out of it is to hit ESC, which terminates the application.

I've tried it with two different webcams and get the same result.

This is a great site, I'm looking forward to hunting around to get the latest info on the Cube.

Hey Guys,

I'm not in US. Really want the same experience like all of you. Anybody kind enough to mail me the brochure?

Please! :'(
I have a sealed one if you like. I can mail it out as long as it costs under $ 3.00
