Hello all,

I've got a Firecracker Red (or Scarlet Red) cube with all black interior, and I was looking to get the Carbon Fiber Interior Applique. What do you all think about that combination? I thought that the red applique is a bit flashy against the all black. I'm also unsure if the carbon fiber is real or simulated.

Thanks for all the replies, they actually do look pretty cheap. I may just get the red ones, wait for better ones, or save the money for better upgrades.

Thanks everyone!

I read one thread that they are just attached with double-sided table.

That makes me wonder if it isn't a better deal to go with the 31 piece interior trim kits available in real wood or carbon fiber or a plethora of other color options. The price isn't too different (or cheaper) depending on the finish and you get more than 8 pieces, though I doubt I would use ALL the pieces.

I've seen them from a few online sources but I'd love to see what it REALLY looks like.

Found this in the forum post http://www.nissancubelife.com/forum/index.php?topic=885.0

I agree that the wood appliques look pretty weak, but the "real carbon fiber" ones are promising. I'm in the process of ordering samples, I'm hoping that the red black carbon fiber looks awesome.

I'll keep you updated!!

Finally got the samples. Pics to follow, The Real Brushed Aluminim looks alright, the real chrome, looks like a mirror, feels kinda cheap. The rest of the samples I got, were variations for carbon fiber, they look nice, but there is a plastic resin over the carbon fiber. I've sent an email to them to ask if this would be the final product, or would it be just the carbon fiber.

EDIT:

Just checked the site again, "100% UV protected polyurethane coating" all the appliques sold are coated in this polyurethane coating. Now i'm pretty Iffy about it. It looks nice, but I really wanted the texture too...

Real Brushed Aluminum, had to angle this one to see the grain, looks great actually, no "100% UV protected polyurethane coating" either
